DEAD(?) - Geshulin was last seen charging into battle against the Threnodian amongst a sea of his fallen men, black flames trailblazing behind him for one final battle. He is only seen as a Phantom in the Retroact Rain, haunting the current General of the Midnight Rangers, sword supposedly consumed by the Threnodian.

POSITIVE TRAITS,
DEDICATED. Give Geshulin a task, and he will finish it no matter what. He will always remember and keep a promise.
DUTIFUL. In lieu with his dedication, Geshulin stubbornly sticks to his role as general ... or any role you see fit for him.
DEXTEROUS. A sword of his size requires a swift and sturdy hand. This goes in hand with a headcanon that he's deemed as a "gamer god" amongst his associates for the shocking amount of skill he has in fighter or comp games ...
EIDETIC MEMORY. Geshulin always remembers. Before his descent into madness, Geshulin would always remember the little things about his men; their birthdays, what they like.
PROTECTIVE. He would do anything for his beloved Jianzhou, for the people inhabiting there; this goes for anyone he holds near and dear to him. But how far does his protectiveness goes before it surpasses a boundary?

NEGATIVE TRAITS,
OBSESSIVE. His obsession with playing his role to completion and fulfilling his goal pushes it into the depths beyond what is deemed acceptable.
STUBBORN. Fueled by obsession, his ornery flare backs up his ideals; he is an unstoppable force, wherein not even the Heavens could stop him.
PESSIMISTIC. Geshulin didn't care how many needed to die, for he had accepted they would all indeed die on the battlefield. What point is there in not using his men's bodies, their spent lives, to defeat their biggest enemy? If it took a million deaths to conquer the Threnodian, then so be it.
CRANKY. A horrible morning person, gruff, quick to irritate or bother if he's focused on something. Some could write him off as being too serious, if it weren't for some of his almost mischievous tendencies.

POWER SET,
RESONATOR. Geshulin possesses a Tacet Marks that stretches across his throat, meaning he has more resistance to Tacet Discords and Retroact Rain, and is able to handle Tacetite Weapons without repercussions.
FORTE. Resonators inherit a Forte, a special ability unique to them and them alone. Geshulin's is partially unknown, but is likely the Black Flames that trail behind him and engulfs his sword. It's his trademark, mentioned multiple times in the history of Jianzhou surrounding his infamous story.
SUPERSTRENGTH. Geshulin shows above average physical strength, even for Resonators.

Deviations from Canon:
+ Geshulin is 6'6.
- He is covered in piercings as much as he is scars.
+ Suffering from an injury to his leg in a rough battle, sometimes Geshulin is seen wearing a leg brace.
- The scar on his lip runs deeper than surface level, making a deep groove from his chin all the way up to his nostril. It's noticeable, even from afar.
+ ... fangies.

FIGURE ⁽¹⁾ : THE MAIN ARC Little is known of Geshulin's story before he had become the infamous General of the Midnight Rangers—— or, perhaps, it's been lost amongst the scorn and apathy for him after his failure, his cruelty. During the war with the Threnodian, when all hope seemed to be lost, Geshulin had charged in with black flames trailblazing behind him and entirely changed the game.Finally, there was hope that the Threnodian could be dealt with once and for all. But, as victory was finally tangible, the Retroact Rain came. It was a bloodbath, and yet, Geshulin didn't care. His obsession with victory, with saving Jianzhou and the people inhabiting it, outweighed his care for his men.Thousands were lost; Geshulin only saw them as stepping stones, as necessary sacrifices for the millions more lives at risk.Jiyan couldn't understand Geshulin's obsession, forced to watch a General once beloved turn senile with only one goal in mind; like some raging, frightened ox, charging straight ahead, even if it was towards their deaths.The younger one insisted to stay, to hold back, to not charge. But, stubborn as ever, Geshulin insisted to charge forward despite the Retroact Rain tearing his army to shreds, to push through and persevere. He could see victory on the horizon, and it blinded him, consumed him.Last Geshulin was seen, he was charging towards the Threnodian, blade in hand and black flames surrounding him like a halo. Because of the needless slaughter of his men in the Midnight Rangers, alongside his failure to defeat the Threnodian, he was scorned, and went down in the history of Jianzhou loathed and not missed.... but his story does not end there. Geshulin's fate remained unknown, but in truth, he suffered a brutal death——— only to be retrieved and put into the hands of the Fractsidus. Scar, with his unique abilities, resurrected as something not quite human, not quite Tacet Discord; whatever he was, he was a puppet easy to control for the Fractsidus. With a powerful asset on their side, there is no knowing what they have in store for Jianzhou's old, fallen General.

HEADCANONS :
+ Proclaimed as a "gamer god" by just about anyone he meets. He loves competitive fighter games, and finds anything else to be a bore.
- Not a morning person. Don't try to wake him up before his alarm. Even when he is up, it takes a good hour before he's ready to do anything, let alone socialize.
+ Somewhat talented in almost any task you put in his hands. He used to fix up all kinds of machinery at the Midnight Rangers headquarters, including vehicles and communication tech. It was always begrudgingly, though; Geshu was good at it, but it grew a bit irritating to be the first person everyone goes to whenever something need repairs. There's a whole tech team dedicated to that, after all (people just loved to spend time with him ... somehow).
- Sensitive palette. Geshu loves spicy foods, and will never turn down a good steak.
+ Before his disappearance, his body's temperature was average, but now it is abnormally hot.
+ Geshulin's strange arm is a prosthetic to replace what he had lost in one of his first battles.
